What To Expect
A Night Out With Line Dancing, Drinks & Community
LDQ Line Dancing Socials are a fun night out built around line dancing, music, drinks, and meeting new people.
Grab your friends or come solo! Whether you’re brand new or already know some dances, everyone is welcome.
We include beginner-friendly instruction and guided dances throughout the night to help everyone join in, but this is not a traditional dance class or a structured learning program.
The goal is not to learn every dance in one night — it’s to have fun, enjoy the atmosphere, connect with the community, and become more comfortable on the dance floor over time.
You’ll learn a few dances, follow along with others, discover new songs, and build your confidence each time you come back.
How The Night Works
💃 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Beginner Lesson Period
We start the night with beginner-friendly instruction where we teach a few dances and help new dancers get comfortable joining the fun.
🎶 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Open Dancing + Guided Dances
The rest of the night is a mix of:

First Time Line Dancing?

You do not need any experience to come and have fun.
Many guests arrive knowing zero dances. We’ll help you get started with a few beginner-friendly dances, but you won’t learn every dance in one night — and that’s completely normal!

McCarthy’s is a lively bar setting with a casual, social atmosphere.
This is not a traditional dance studio setup — there is no stage or classroom-style environment. The focus is on having a fun night out, enjoying the music, meeting people, and being part of the LDQ community.
You’ll see dancers of all levels sharing the floor, following along, learning from each other, and enjoying the night together.
