The Beginning: Dancing With Friends
Line Dancing Queens (LDQ) was founded by Molly in May 2023, right around the time she graduated college in Boston.
While in college, Molly, Vicky, and their close friend group met through line dancing and quickly bonded over it—despite having no prior dance experience. What started as casual nights out dancing together became something they all loved and looked forward to. That original group became known as the Queens, and they are still part of LDQ content today.
After college, Molly began posting those videos consistently on TikTok and Instagram. From May 2023 onward, LDQ grew into a consistent online presence built around line dancing, friendship, and fun.
As the videos gained traction, the Queens built a following of women drawn to the friendship and fun. Before long, they were being recognized at line dance nights across Boston, turning college memories into the start of a growing community.
From the beginning, LDQ has been friendship-first and fun-driven—built on that Boston urban cowgirl energy.

Growing Beyond the Screen
By May 2025, the Boston line dancing community had grown significantly, and LDQ began hosting weekly live events in Boston to create more space for people to dance together in person.
What started online was now happening in real life every week—bar nights, lessons, and social dance events where people who had been following online could finally show up and dance together.
Molly and Vicky now lead all live events—DJing, teaching, and creating a space for people to connect through dance, friendship, and fun.
The original Queens (the college friend group) still appear in content and remain part of the LDQ identity online, helping carry the energy that started it all.
LDQ: What We Do Now
Today, Line Dancing Queens is both a digital platform and a live community.
We host weekly events at McCarthy’s in Cambridge, along with monthly and special events across Boston.
From beginners to advanced dancers, everyone is welcome—whether they first found us online or are stepping onto the dance floor for the first time.
LDQ is more than dance—it’s a community built on confidence, friendship, fun, and showing up as you are.
